Why I love this song
- The lyrics. The words express exactly how I feel about my Swami.
- The Rituals: Most of the things the woman does in this song, I do in my home as well. The lighting of the lamps, the touching of the feet, the worshiping of the basil plant, the Aarti, oh gosh, so many are there!
- Towards the end, when the Mom senses her son's impending arrival. Yeah, I know, I just love the mushy parts.
- All the color, costumes and jewelry!
